Dr. Gnaneswara Rao Nitta is a Professor and Principal at the JNTUH-affiliated DRK Institute of Science and Technology in Hyderabad. He has 26 years of academic training and teaching experience and nine years of research experience. His formal education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from SRKR Engineering College, which is affiliated with Andhra University, in 1996, a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTUH in Hyderabad in 2002, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTUK in Kakinada in 2012.

His areas of expertise include data analytics, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, data classification, and retrieval. He has published over 33 international journals and conferences, indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and SCI. Since 2002, he has been a member of IEEE and ACM on an annual basis, in addition to being a Life Member of MISTE, MIET, MISRS, MCRSI, MCSI, MIETE, MIAPR, MIENG, MISC, MISCA. He has served as a session chair for conferences such as RTI2R 2018 and ICBDACI-2017, as well as a reviewer for journals such as Multimedia Tools and Applications (SCIE), Springer, KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems (SCIE), KETI, Journal of Internet Technology (SCIE), International Journal of Information Technology and Decision Making (IJITDM), and others.
